(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 29, at the National Convention Center, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, the Civil Engineering Construction Corporation 4 (Cienco 4) held a ceremony to celebrate the 51st anniversary of Cienco 4's traditional day (December 27, 1962 - December 27, 2013); deploy tasks for 2014 and receive the title of Labor Hero.

On the side of Nghe An province, where Cienco 4 is headquartered and has achieved many achievements over the past half century (1962-2012), Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also attended.

On behalf of the Party and the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai awarded the title of Labor Hero to Cienco 4, highly appreciating the process of construction and outstanding growth of the leadership and construction team of Cienco 4 bridge and road construction with a journey of more than half a century accompanying the cause of resistance and national construction and development.

During the resistance war against the US, the bridge workers of the predecessor units of Cienco4 were soldiers present both at the front and the rear, contributing their efforts and blood with the army and people of the whole country to open and maintain roads, creating the tradition of "living on the bridge and road/ Dying steadfastly and bravely", connecting the rear and the front, creating beautiful symbols of revolutionary heroism and leaving especially deep marks not only in the fierce key points throughout the Central region but also across the length of the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the President's decision No. 922/QQD-CTN dated May 31 to confer the title of Hero on Cienco 4 is an honor for Cienco 4's outstanding achievements and contributions in labor, creativity, contributing to building socialism and defending the Fatherland. This is a worthy honor and a source of pride for workers on bridge and road construction projects who have strived to create a leading strong brand in the field of traffic construction.
