Honoring the best hotel housekeeping workers of 2017

(Baonghean.vn) - 17 awards for groups and individuals were presented at the closing ceremony of the 2017 Nghe An Province Hotel Room Service Competition, which took place on the afternoon of June 20. Outstanding candidates will be selected to participate in the national competition.

Taking place over 2 days, June 19-20, the contest attracted the participation of a large number of room service staff from 19 accommodation establishments in the province. With thorough investment and large scale in the organization, the contest was a great success.

Evaluating the contest, the representative of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism - a member of the jury - said that the quality of the contestants' skills was quite even, the difference in scores was very small, demonstrating their solidity in expertise and profession. The contest is an opportunity for hotel room service staff to exchange and learn from experience; at the same time, contributing to honoring individuals with good expertise and profession in the tourism industry.

Notably, at the contest, there was 1 male contestant who participated and won the second prize overall. As a result, the first prize for the group went to Muong Thanh Luxury Song Lam Hotel; the first prize for the individual was awarded to contestant Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (Saigon Kim Lien Joint Stock Company). In addition, there was 1 second prize for the group, 2 second prizes for individuals, 3 third prizes, 6 encouragement prizes for individuals and 3 consolation prizes./.
