General Secretary hopes young Vietnamese intellectuals in France will always look back to their roots
During his official visit to the French Republic, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a cordial meeting with representatives of young Vietnamese intellectuals in France, including scientists and experts in various fields, holding important positions in many French agencies, organizations and enterprises.

Many young Vietnamese intellectuals in France have been volunteering to contribute their intelligence and efforts to the country's development through research programs, consulting activities, and projects to support domestic agencies and localities, contributing to the country's innovation and development.
With the desire to contribute more to the country, young Vietnamese intellectuals in France have contributed many profound and dedicated opinions, focusing on issues such as environmental protection to protect people's health, improving labor productivity, prioritizing environmental protection in economic development policies, not developing the economy at all costs; the issue of reducing public debt, expanding scientific research cooperation; policy advice, organizing expert forums, training officials, etc.
Acknowledging and appreciating the contributions of experts, scientists and young Vietnamese intellectuals in France, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized that these are issues that Vietnam urgently needs in the process of comprehensively and synchronously promoting the renovation process, helping the country continue to develop rapidly and sustainably in the coming time. The General Secretary hopes that young Vietnamese intellectuals in France will always turn to their roots and continue to contribute to building their homeland.
Emphasizing that knowledge is strength and a decisive factor for the nation's future, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed that the Party and State always attach great importance to intellectuals, considering Vietnamese intellectuals abroad as a valuable resource of the country and regularly paying attention to issuing appropriate policies and mechanisms to attract and better promote the contributions of Vietnamese intellectuals and experts abroad to the country's development.
