General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong attends summit between Communist Party of China and political parties
At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong led a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to attend the conference from Hanoi.

On the evening of July 6, in the capital Beijing of China, the "Summit between the Communist Party of China and political parties around the world" took place online.
General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping attended the conference and delivered an important speech.
At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trongled a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to attend the conference from Hanoi.
With the theme "For the happiness of the people, the responsibility of political parties," the conference attracted the participation of about 10,000 representatives of more than 500 political parties and organizations around the world.
More than 130 foreign diplomatic envoys in China, including Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, attended the conference offline.
The “Communist Party of China-World Political Parties Summit” is an important multilateral diplomatic event held at the time when the Communist Party of China celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding, aiming to enhance exchanges and learning experiences in governance between the Communist Party of China and political parties around the world; coordinate responses to challenges posed by unprecedented changes in a century as well as the COVID-19 pandemic; enhance the ability to pursue happiness for the people; and promote peace, development and common prosperity in the world.

At a press conference in Beijing on July 5, Guo Yezhou, Deputy Head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized that the conference is expected to facilitate a new type of relationship between political parties around the world to expand similarities, put aside differences, and enhance mutual respect and learning.
The conference also contributes to diversifying the forms and levels of exchanges as well as enhancing dialogue, coordination and cooperation among political parties around the world.
