On the afternoon of June 13, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received a high-ranking delegation of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Comrade Chan-xi Pho-xi-kham, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Organizing Committee, who visited and worked in Vietnam.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Comrade Chanxi Phoxikham, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.
Comrade Chan-xi Pho-xi-kham expressed his joy in visiting Vietnam; sincerely thanked the General Secretary for receiving and giving the delegation good feelings; respectfully conveyed the warm regards of General Secretary and President of Laos Choum-ma-ly Say-nha-xone to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. He congratulated the great and historic achievements of the Vietnamese people in the renovation process; firmly believed that, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people would successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress; thanked the Party, State and people of Vietnam for their great support and assistance to Laos up to now. He informed General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of some general features of the recent situation in Laos; on the results of cooperation between the Central Organizing Committees of the two Parties as well as the results of this visit and talks. Affirming that the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party will closely coordinate with the Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in implementing the cooperation agreements between the two Committees, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of each Party.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong warmly welcomed the high-ranking delegation of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party to visit and work in Vietnam; congratulated the great and important achievements in all fields that the Lao Party, State and people have achieved in the cause of renovation, protection and construction of the country; expressed his firm belief that, under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao people will continue to gain many new and greater achievements in the cause of renovation, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 9th National Party Congress and the 7th Five-Year Socio-Economic Development Plan. The General Secretary expressed his joy at the solidarity relationship, especially the increasingly deep, effective and practical development between Vietnam and Laos in all fields; affirmed that Vietnam will do its utmost together with Laos to forever preserve and continuously foster the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos to develop to new heights, for the benefit of the people of each country, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
The General Secretary highly appreciated the results of the delegation's visit and work in Vietnam as well as the results of the talks between the two high-ranking delegations of the two Central Organizing Committees of the two Parties and the results of cooperation between the two Organizing Committees in the past time and hoped that the two Central Organizing Committees of the two Parties would continue to coordinate closely, increase the exchange of theoretical and practical issues, and experience in Party building, cadre organization, training and fostering of cadres at all levels, cooperate and help each other in implementing the Resolution of the Congress of each Party; coordinate well in organizing the activities of the "Year of Solidarity and Friendship between Vietnam - Laos, Laos - Vietnam" contributing to further deepening the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong respectfully conveyed his warm regards to General Secretary and President of Laos Choummaly Sayasone and other leaders of the Lao Party and State.
* On the same day, the high-level delegation of the Central Organizing Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Comrade To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, had talks with the high-level delegation of the Central Organizing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party led by Comrade Chan-xi Pho-xi-kham, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee. The two sides informed each other about the recent situation of each Party and each country; exchanged contents related to Party building work, cadre organization work and the implementation of the cooperation program between the two Organizing Committees for the period 2011-2015.
