General Secretary To Lam attends groundbreaking ceremony for construction of world's most advanced stadium
On the morning of October 19, in Hung Yen, the Ministry of Public Security held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the PVF Stadium with a capacity of 60,000 seats, using the most modern dome technology in Vietnam and the most advanced in the world. General Secretary To Lam attended and performed the groundbreaking ceremony.
This is not only a place to organize cultural and sports events of the People's Public Security force, but also a new symbolic project of international stature of Vietnam in the era of rising up.
Also attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Standing member of the Party's XIV National Congress Document Subcommittee; General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong, representatives of ministries, branches, localities and businesses accompanying People's Public Security football.
The stadium is located in the PVF Youth Football Training Center, in Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province, with the Ministry of Public Security as the investor and Vinhomes Joint Stock Company under Vingroup as the general contractor.
Realizing the aspiration for peak development of People's Public Security sports
Speaking at the opening ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security said that the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the stadium is a practical activity to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party and the People's Public Security force; at the same time, it is a step to concretize and deploy the emulation movement."Three best" - most disciplined, most loyal, closest to the people according to the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security.
Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said that the project to build PVF Stadium, located in the People's Public Security Sports Complex, is an important cultural and sports institution, contributing to realizing the aspiration for peak development of People's Public Security Sports in particular and Vietnamese Sports in general. The project is expected to create more motivation to contribute to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, contributing to the goal of building a strong and prosperous country according to the Party's policy.
"This will also be a place for people to participate in physical activities, improve their health, and make the movement of the whole population exercising following the example of great Uncle Ho a habit and daily lifestyle. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people," Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized.
Top sports facilities in Asia
At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa - Chairman of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company said that PVF Stadium is oriented to become a Top sports facility in Asia, located in a 92-hectare sports - service complex. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seats, meets FIFA standards, and is qualified to host major international matches such as the World Cup.
"This is also the first stadium in Vietnam equipped with a modern automatic opening and closing roof, referring to the model and technology of AT&T Stadium (USA) - the stadium with the largest opening and closing roof in the world today. The outstanding difference of PVF Stadium is the giant dome design that can open and close completely in just 12 - 20 minutes - a technology applied for the first time in Vietnam", said Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa.
World leading advanced technology
The stadium design is of the era and the world's leading advanced technology. When put into operation, PVF Stadium will not only meet the physical training needs and improve the morale of the People's Public Security officers and soldiers, but will also be the center of national and international events, promoting cultural, sports and tourism exchanges; contributing to economic and social development, enhancing Vietnam's position in the era of national development.
"With the significance of this key sports project, we are committed to implementing the project with the spirit of urgency, discipline and the highest responsibility. We will mobilize the best resources, focus on strictly managing quality, progress and construction safety at all stages. Each project item will be seriously implemented, ensuring compliance with the design, technical standards and legal regulations. We will also pay special attention to sustainability, environmental protection, landscape preservation and ensuring absolute safety for workers," Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa - representative of the general contractor committed.
The stadium has an area of over 55,000 m², a capacity of 60,000 seats, including 4 main stands A, B, C, D and specialized areas: technical, security, broadcasting control center, press, player area, VIP area, service - cuisine. Along with that, the stadium has an outdoor square and a modern parking lot of 18 hectares. In particular, the stadium is designed according to FIFA standards, qualified to host World Cup matches and regional tournaments.
The roof uses advanced PTFE material, which has the ability to transmit natural light, prevent heat absorption, block UV rays and reduce noise, helping the interior space to be cool, save energy and maintain outstanding durability over time.
The field surface uses hybrid modular grass technology - a combination of natural grass and artificial fibers, helping to increase durability, drain water quickly, withstand heavy loads, and facilitate maintenance. Each grass panel can be disassembled independently, easily replaced or moved, helping the field's function to flexibly convert for activities from professional sports competitions to national and international cultural and social events...
The stadium is integrated with a large LED screen system, modern sound and light for live broadcasting, bringing a vivid visual experience to the audience.
When completed, PVF Stadium will not only become a "common home" for generations of young Vietnamese players, but also a large-scale training and competition center for the People's Public Security force, serving the physical training, improving the health and fighting spirit of officers and soldiers.
