Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association affirmed: The launch of the electronic information page "Communist Party of Vietnam - 14th Congress" is an event of special significance not only for the Party's propaganda work, but also demonstrates the determination to innovate and modernize communication methods. Under the close direction of the Party and State leaders, directly the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the information page was elaborately built with a spirit of urgency and seriousness.

The newspaper has boldly applied many modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, creating a modern digital media platform, bringing the most comprehensive experience to all audiences, becoming a bridge between the Party and the people, contributing to raising political awareness, promoting the participation of all people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Nhan Dan Newspaper is determined to operate a safe, accurate, and modern information page, worthy of being one of the projects to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Affirming that Nhan Dan Newspaper has always been the political and ideological flag of the Party on the national press front, comrade Le Quoc Minh said that over the years, the Newspaper has constantly innovated its content and propaganda methods, promptly and vividly reflecting the major policies and guidelines of the Party and State, and the country's major political events. The Party's character, political quality and identity of the newspaper continue to be affirmed and enhanced, associated with the application of modern technology, promoting interaction on digital platforms.

The newspaper has presided over the organization or coordinated the implementation of many activities and events, creating a buzz in society, which have been highly appreciated, such as the propaganda campaigns for the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the political art program "Fatherland in the heart"; the exhibition area "95 years of the Party Flag lighting the way"...

In the coming time, the Newspaper hopes to continue implementing creative communication activities to serve the 14th National Party Congress, and innovative journalism projects to serve the propaganda work of the Party and State's guidelines and policies.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam stated that the "Communist Party of Vietnam - 14th Congress" website is a digital address, the official information infrastructure of the 14th National Congress of the Party, a fast, accurate, reliable, friendly information address, ensuring "one source - one standard - one voice" in the entire process of preparing, organizing the Congress and implementing the Resolution after the 14th Congress.

The 14th National Party Congress is a major political event, shaping the vision, goals and breakthroughs for the country's new development stage. In the context of multi-platform communication, information flows extremely fast, and is interwoven in many ways, each official information has value as a "fulcrum" for society to orient its perception and action. Therefore, the Electronic Information Page must fulfill three core tasks: providing correct, sufficient and timely information; orienting public opinion with scientific arguments and accurate data; connecting and interacting to create social consensus at home and abroad.

The General Secretary emphasized that the "Communist Party of Vietnam - 14th National Congress" information page must be a place to update the program, content, documents, and results of the Congress; a channel to publish press releases, Q&A documents, graphic data, official photos and videos. The three principle requirements are accuracy, timeliness, and ease of understanding. Each number, quote, and term is standardized; the news is concise, clear, with a source and time of publication; documents are easy to find, easy to download, easy to cite; the experience is optimized on mobile devices so that everyone can access them quickly and fully.

To operate the Information Page effectively, General Secretary To Lam requested Nhan Dan Newspaper to thoroughly grasp and implement six key requirements, considering them as the "operational discipline" of the Information Page. First of all, it is information discipline. All content must closely follow the direction of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and relevant agencies according to their authority; absolutely no speculation; no leaks, no negligence.

Second, accurate and timely. Set up a clear release schedule; release text, graphics, and videos synchronously; provide them to the press, digital platforms, and external channels simultaneously. The criteria are “correct-enough-fast-concise-good”.

Third, safety and security. Multi-layered security operations; 24/7 monitoring; scenarios for responding to attacks, impersonation, and appropriation; backup servers, content, and personnel; not to “lose signal,” not to be passive or surprised in any situation.

The General Secretary emphasized the fourth requirement is to coordinate smoothly. Connect smoothly between the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Central Office; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; press agencies, ministries, branches and localities; unify a single spokesperson; respond quickly to issues of public concern; share information resources and standardize terminology to avoid errors.

Fifth, focus on foreign affairs. Prepare information packages for international reporters; concise and standard explanatory documents; respond promptly, civilly, and respect international practices; create favorable conditions for friends from all over the world to accurately access the guidelines and policies of our Party and State.

Sixth, use positivity to push back negativity. Proactively create good topics, beautiful stories, and telling numbers; spread good examples in Party building, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security; at the same time, resolutely refute false arguments with scientific reasoning, convincing evidence, and a calm and exemplary attitude.

The General Secretary noted that for cadres and party members, the Information Page is an “Electronic Handbook” during the Congress days (work schedule, information regulations, shared documents, internal communication operation instructions, and security notes). For the people, this is a “reliable destination” to access documents, follow policy discussions, and clearly understand the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of citizens in implementing resolutions. For overseas Vietnamese and international friends, this is a “Vietnam window” about a country that is innovative, disciplined, cultured, proactively integrating, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community.

The information page needs to promote the strengths of data and technology. Each news should include original data and links to related normative documents; each figure should have a citation source; each major message should have a summary version and a full version to serve a variety of audiences. Enhance smart search tools, topic suggestions, notifications to monitor new content; standardize the transmission process so that press agencies, researchers and the public can use it conveniently without deviation. Pay attention to data responsibility, copyright and user privacy. Each reporter, editor, technician, data specialist, and cybersecurity expert is a "soldier" on the information front.

Affirming that the launch of the "Communist Party of Vietnam - 14th Congress" website is an important step to organize a Congress of Solidarity-Democracy-Discipline-Breakthrough-Development, the General Secretary believes that with the synchronous participation of the entire political system, the proactive and professional spirit of advisory and support agencies, the companionship of the press and media, and the trust and support of our compatriots at home and abroad, the website will successfully fulfill its mission: to be an official source of information, a sharp weapon on the ideological-cultural front, and a strong bridge between the Congress and the people.
