Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine Le Hai Binh holds the position of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Mr. Le Hai Binh was born in 1977, from Hai Phong city, is Associate Professor, Doctor of International Relations.
Mr. Le Hai Binh has many years of experience in the diplomatic sector, holding the following positions: Deputy Director of the Foreign Policy Department and Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies; Director of the Press and Information Department; Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy and Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies.
In October 2019, he was transferred and assigned to hold the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Information and International Cooperation, Central Propaganda Department.

In November 2019, he was assigned by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for External Information Affairs. In January 2021, Mr. Le Hai Binh was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.
In August 2021, he was appointed by the Politburo as Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department. In March 2024, he was transferred and appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.
Recently, the Prime Minister decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Phan Tam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Thus, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has Minister Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Ministers including Mr. Ta Quang Dong, Trinh Thi Thuy, Hoang Dao Cuong, Ho An Phong, Le Hai Binh and Phan Tam.
The Prime Minister also decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sang, Deputy Minister of Transport; Mr. Nguyen Danh Huy, Deputy Minister of Transport; Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Transport to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Construction.
