Vietnam Post Corporation works in Thanh Chuong district

Overview of the working session
After 4 years of separation from the Post and Telecommunications Department, Thanh Chuong District Post Office (Nghe An) has become a bright spot, a trusted address for people in implementing postal financial services; express delivery; installation services for television receivers; insurance services; fast money transfer... In particular, Thanh Chuong District Post Office has implemented the postal savings service, attracting a large number of participants. Up to now, Thanh Chuong District Post Office has a postal savings balance of 233/998 billion VND of the postal savings balance of the whole province, the highest in the district-level postal system in the country. Currently, after the postal savings service was implemented in coordination with Lien Viet Bank, it has ensured the rights of depositors with many flexible terms, competitive interest rates equal to those of banks in the area; creating favorable conditions, close to the people through the cultural postal system of communes. Thanh Chuong District Post Office is also one of the few post offices in the province with positive revenue and expenditure, expected to pay 4 billion VND to the provincial post office in 2012.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation Pham Anh Tuan highly appreciated the production and business activities of Thanh Chuong Post Office; At the same time, he requested the Post Office to make more efforts to continue to maintain and promote the development of service and business activities; serve customers wholeheartedly and responsibly; and improve the lives of officers and employees.
