(Baonghean.vn) -To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the General Traffic Construction Corporation 4 (Cienco 4) December 27, 1962 - December 27, 2012, this afternoon, December 14, in Vinh city, the Corporation held a conference to honor 50 typical advanced workers, creative workers and those who study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in the entire corporation.

Attending the event were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Nguyen Quang Vinh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation; Le Ngoc Hoa - Deputy Party Secretary, General Director of the Corporation.

In recent years, promoting the heroic, brave, intelligent and creative tradition of the Transport sector, the patriotic emulation movement and the Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example among the officers, employees and workers of the Corporation have been developed extensively with diverse and rich contents and forms. Thanks to that, the production and business activities of the Corporation have increasingly developed, with an annual growth rate of 10 - 15%, and the lives of workers have been increasingly improved. In 2012, the expected revenue is over 7,000 billion VND, and the income of workers is over 6.2 million VND/month, an increase of 16% compared to 2011.

The Corporation has successfully implemented many ODA, ADB, WB funded projects that have been highly appreciated by international organizations on three criteria: quality, safety, and progress. Typically, the construction of the Hanoi Ring Road 3 Connection Package 3 Project was completed within 100 days, a project to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, setting a record for construction progress in the transport sector; Package 3-2 of the Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway Project was completed 6 months ahead of schedule; Package 1 of the Hanoi Ring Road 3 Project was completed 9 months ahead of schedule, contributing significantly to relieving traffic congestion in Hanoi....

From the emulation movement of excellent workers and creative workers in the whole Corporation, hundreds of outstanding collectives and individuals have emerged, continuously leading the emulation movements in agencies and units. The 50 advanced models honored and commended this time were engineers, technical staff on construction sites, and direct production workers representing more than 6,000 officers and employees in the whole Corporation.
