Vietnam Road Administration works with Nghe An Department of Transport

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of November 30, the working delegation of the Vietnam Road Administration led by Mr. Le Dinh Tho - Director General had a working session with the Nghe An Department of Transport on the development of the Nghe An transport sector.

At the meeting, the leaders of Nghe An Department of Transport reported on the operation of Nghe An Transport sector in the past year. Despite many difficulties, the Transport sector has made great efforts to overcome all difficulties, find positive measures, focus on direction and management and has achieved many results contributing to socio-economic growth, ensuring national defense and security, exploiting available strengths and potentials. The projects invested by the Department have basically been completed such as: Chau Thon - Tan Xuan Road (phase 1), the road to the center of My Ly commune, Phuong Tich bridge, suspension bridges: Ban Coi, Do Muou, Bai Oi, etc. The Department is focusing on directing to speed up the construction progress, soon completing and putting into operation: National Highway 46 avoiding Vinh, National Highway 1 Dien Chau - Quan Hanh section, National Highway 48 Kim Son town - Phu Phuong - Thong Thu border gate section, 5 bridges and 5 landslide points on National Highway 48, the road connecting National Highway 1A - Nghia Dan district - Thai Hoa town, Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard, Road 8B, DT542C, DT534 through Yen Thanh district, Tay Nghe An road (phase 2), Chau Thon - Tan Xuan (phase 2), WB project, suspension bridges, etc.

In addition, the Department actively coordinates to speed up the progress of central investment projects in the province such as: National Highway 1, Hoang Mai - Dien Chau section, National Highway 7, National Highway 48, Ben Thuy 2 Bridge, Cua Lo Port, Dong Hoi Port, Vinh Airport, border roads, ODA projects, .... coordinates to speed up the progress of projects invested by departments, branches, sectors, and the District People's Committee. Focus on directing investment in the construction of rural transport systems. Deploy new construction of Nam Vinh, Bac Vinh bus stations, ... Air transport has developed strongly, contributing to meeting the travel needs of the people. Traffic inspection work is carried out regularly, focusing on inspection and examination to ensure traffic safety and road and inland waterway transport activities, violations of traffic corridors, driver training and testing, protection of traffic structures, means of transport, overloaded vehicles, handling of violations of traffic safety and order, the industry also coordinates with agencies and units to ensure traffic safety and order...
