General Department of Engineering (Ministry of National Defense) visited and worked at Military Region 4

(Baonghean.vn) -From February 25 to 27, a working delegation from the General Department of Engineering (Ministry of National Defense) led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Chau Thanh - Director of the General Department of Engineering visited, worked and inspected the technical work of Military Region 4.

Working at the Military Region Command, the delegation heard a report: In the past 3 years, technical work in Military Region 4 has been carried out in accordance with the orders of the Head of the Ministry of National Defense; Resolutions of the Party Committee, orders of the Commander of Military Region 4. Technical tasks have been actively, comprehensively and focusedly deployed; Quality and depth have been significantly improved; technical agencies and facilities have been basically consolidated; targets and objectives have been well achieved. Ensuring sufficient quantity, good quality, and synchronization of technical equipment and weapons for the tasks of the Military Region's armed forces.

Visiting localities and units: Military Commands of the provinces: Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri and Ha Tinh, Air Defense Brigade H83, Workshop 467, Warehouse K2 of the Technical Department and Regiment 1 of Division 324, the Working Group inspected the quality and quantity of technical equipment and weapons, the quality of combat-ready weapons, the quality of preservation and maintenance of weapons, ammunition and technical equipment, the quality of the system of workshops, warehouses, garages and facilities serving technical work, and at the same time commented and signed the inspection book at the technical facilities of the unit.

The Director of the General Department of Engineering highly appreciated the results of the technical work of the Military Region. Although the technical facilities still face many difficulties, the Command of Military Region 4 has paid attention to directing the technical sector to actively and proactively arrange and preserve weapons and technical equipment in warehouses, ensuring safety. The system of workshops and machinery has been invested in and built in accordance with regulations, the repair of weapons and technical equipment and means has ensured quality, especially weapons and equipment serving the combat readiness mission on the battlefields and combat readiness units always ensure sufficient quantity and quality.
