General Director of Power Generation Corporation 1 checks operational safety at Ban Ve Hydropower Plant
On the afternoon of May 31, a working delegation led by Mr. Le Hai Dang - General Director of Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1) inspected the work of ensuring operational safety at Ban Ve Hydropower Plant.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Hai Dang directly inspected the site, listened to reports on the reservoir operation situation, plans to ensure project safety and operational scenarios in extreme weather conditions. The General Director of EVNGENCO1 acknowledged the unit's initiative in equipment maintenance and inspection, and the development of plans to ensure technical safety and continuous, effective operation.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Hai Dang emphasized: Ban Ve Hydropower Plant is a key hydropower project, playing an important role not only in ensuring stable power supply but also in flood regulation and protecting downstream areas. Therefore, maintaining safe operation and being ready to respond to any unusual situations is a key task. He requested all officers and employees to continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity and always put safety first in all activities.
On the occasion of Workers' Month, the General Director of EVNGENCO1 also visited and encouraged the spirit and life of workers working at the factory. He praised their efforts to overcome difficulties and stay in remote areas to operate the hydropower project effectively and safely.
Before that, the delegation offered incense at the Memorial House for the officers and workers who sacrificed their lives during the construction of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant - as a deep gratitude to those who contributed to the construction of this important project.
