The Party Congress of Ban Ve Hydropower Company took place on April 4. Attending and directing the congress were comrade Nguyen Manh Huan - Member of the Standing Committee, member of the Board of Members of Power Generation Corporation 1 (EVNGENCO1). On the side of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, there were comrade Ta Huu Hung - Party Secretary, Director of the company, and all Party members in the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company.
In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has had some changes. After a period of being under the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc, from November 5, 2024 to present, the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has been transferred to be under the Party Committee of EVNGENCO1, under the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group.
Through many changes, up to now, the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has 6 affiliated Party cells with 81 official Party members. The Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term has 9 comrades; the Standing Committee has 3 comrades. During the past term, the Party Committee has proactively built a full-term action program, resolutions, set out directions and goals to lead and direct the company to complete the targets set by the congress resolution; Party building work has always been closely, comprehensively and increasingly effectively led and directed by the Party Committee.
In addition to the advantages, the company's operations during the past term also encountered many difficulties. In addition to implementing the task of transferring the party organization and party members, the unit also had to ensure the parallel completion of two tasks of electricity production and trading and finalization of investment capital for the Ban Ve Hydropower project. In 2020, 2021 and the first months of 2022, the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing affected the company's production and business activities; the domestic and foreign economic, political and social situations had many complex fluctuations, posing many challenges to achieving the goal of ensuring safe, flexible and effective adaptation.
In addition, hydrometeorological developments, extreme weather, unpredictable climate change, and the El Nino phenomenon occurring on a large scale have directly affected the regulation of water supply for production, daily life in the downstream areas, and operations. In addition, the settlement of investment capital for the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant has not been completed due to the extension of additional support policies for resettlement areas, which has also affected the production and business activities of the company.
However, under the leadership and direction of the superior Party Committee, together with local authorities at all levels, the Party Committee of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has issued an action program to concretize the resolution, develop directions, tasks and groups of solutions, lead the implementation; build an annual work program with specific contents for each month, quarter, etc. At the same time, by directing strongly and implementing synchronous measures, the proposed political tasks have been basically completed.
During the past term, the company has ensured the proper and safe operation of the Ban Ve reservoir and hydropower plant, meeting all three basic criteria: Flood prevention, power generation and drought prevention downstream. From 2020-2024, the electricity output was 4,573/4,042 million kWh, reaching 113% of the plan assigned by Power Generation Corporation 1; Budget contribution for 5 years was 915.4 billion VND (reaching 102%); The material and spiritual life of officers, employees and workers has been constantly improved; Party building and union leadership have always been given attention and attention, and every year the superior party organization has assessed and classified the task as good or better; the Trade Union organization has continuously achieved the title of excellent and strong...
The Party building work also recorded practical innovations. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees at all levels have been constantly improved. The work of organizing cadres has been given attention, implemented in accordance with principles, procedures, and regulations, and has brought about positive results. Notably, there has been no case of Party organizations having to implement discipline during the entire term. The work of fighting against corruption, negativity, and waste has been focused on. At the same time, he directed a number of important contents to be added to the new term resolution, requesting the Congress to seriously discuss the achieved results, the tasks and solutions stated in the political report to build a complete and comprehensive Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term.
