Detailed summary of 2014 World Cup qualifying results

March 27, 2013 15:53

Last night and early this morning, matches in the 2014 World Cup qualifying round in Europe took place, with the advantage belonging to the big teams.

The highlight match between France and Spain ended with a 1-0 victory for the defending champions, with the only goal scored by Pedro Rodriguez. Spain's victory once again confirmed that they are a team that is not easy to defeat, and at the same time erased worries about the champions not getting a direct ticket to the 2014 World Cup, because after this series of matches, Spain surpassed France to rise to the top of the group with 1 more point.

Meanwhile, after an 8-0 victory over San Mario, England faced many difficulties on Montenegro's field. Wayne Rooney scored but could not help the Three Lions win all 3 points and had to accept a 1-1 draw, thereby England continued to rank behind Montenegro.

Meanwhile, strong teams like Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium all won, thereby setting one foot in Brazil next summer.
