After 10 years of operation, Nghe An Provincial Social Policy Bank has successfully completed the political tasks assigned by the Party and the State, successfully implemented 10 preferential credit programs of the Government, significantly contributing to poverty reduction and social security in the area.
As of December 31, 2012, the total policy capital managed by the Nghe An Social Policy Bank reached VND5,731 billion, an increase of VND5,418 billion compared to the first day of establishment, with an average growth rate of 36.5%. Total loans in the past 10 years reached VND8,703 billion, with an average annual turnover of VND870.3 billion. Total debt collection turnover reached VND3,194 billion, with an average annual turnover of VND320 billion, accounting for 37% of loan turnover. Nearly 99% of total outstanding loans focused on credit programs for hunger eradication and poverty reduction. Preferential capital has helped 728,857 poor households and other policy beneficiaries, creating jobs for 12,799 workers, more than 170,000 students in difficult circumstances to borrow study capital, and 7,164 workers to go abroad to work. Thanks to that, 62,387 poor households have escaped poverty.

Awarding certificates of merit to 33 groups with outstanding achievements
On this occasion, Nghe An Social Policy Bank was awarded a certificate of merit by the Government, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented a banner with the content "10 years of solidarity, innovation, construction and development", the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 33 collectives and 25 individuals with outstanding achievements in credit activities over the past 10 years.
