Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of Nghe An province awarded certificates of merit to outstanding collectives for 10 years of implementing the project.
The conference listened to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism report summarizing 10 years of implementing the project, stating: In the past 10 years, 480 communes, wards and towns have included the target of building cultural and sports institutions in the People's Council resolutions and tasks and plans of the People's Committees of communes, wards and towns, and at the same time have specific implementation measures down to hamlets and villages. With a support mechanism of 80% for extremely disadvantaged communes; 60% for mountainous communes and 20% for plain communes, in recent years the province has supported the construction of 156 cultural houses, 71 stadiums, 4,057/5,859 villages, hamlets, blocks and villages have planned land for sports, reaching 56.2%. Thanks to that, the organization of activities at institutions in communes, wards, towns and villages, hamlets, blocks and villages has become increasingly diverse, meeting the people's need for cultural and spiritual enjoyment.
This conference also deployed and thoroughly grasped Directive No. 10-CT/TU dated September 19, 2012 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to promote the movement "All people unite to build cultural life in Nghe An province in the period 2012 - 2020".
Comrade Pham Van Thuy - Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture and Sports spoke to acknowledge the achievements of Nghe An province in the past 10 years. However, Nghe An needs to further promote the effectiveness of cultural and sports institutions. To quickly increase the models of cultural and sports institutions that meet the standards of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it is necessary to have the consensus of the people, especially mobilizing from socialized sources.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 75 collectives with outstanding achievements in "building standard Cultural - Sports institutions and developing grassroots cultural life" in the period 2002 - 2012.
