Summary of 3 projects to arrest wanted fugitives

(Baonghean.vn) -The Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Police has just concluded 3 projects to capture 5 especially dangerous wanted criminals and persuaded 2 wanted criminals to surrender after 14 years of hiding abroad.

At the conference, the summary report of the fight against 3 special projects as well as the discussion opinions on professional measures, difficulties, obstacles and lessons learned presented by the members of the Special Project Board clarified the process of striving to ensure the fight against the special projects effectively. In just a short time, from March to the end of April 2014, the Criminal Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Public Security successfully carried out 3 special projects, arrested 5 cunning and deceitful subjects, changed their identities and backgrounds and hid in many locations in the southern provinces, brought them safely to Nghe An and handed them over to the investigation agencies at all levels for handling.

The conference focused on assessing the coordination of relevant units in using professional measures to combat wanted criminals. The success of the projects demonstrated the spirit of attack, sharpness, sensitivity, loyalty, high responsibility, and determination in capturing wanted subjects. The verification and assessment of the most accurate information, the arrangement of using secret networks in each project as well as the enlistment of help from police forces, local authorities and the masses, contributed significantly to the success of these projects.

Through the conference summary, each member of the Project Committee as well as all officers working on criminal pursuit have a deeper understanding of the role, tasks, nature of work as well as experience in capturing wanted subjects, especially especially dangerous wanted subjects, long-time fugitives... to help investigate and discover special cases more effectively, contributing to ensuring security and order in the whole province.
