(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 31, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Council of Young Pioneers held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union - Young Pioneers and school youth work in the 2014 - 2015 school year and deploy tasks for the 2015 - 2016 school year.

In the 2014-2015 school year, the work of the Young Pioneers and the provincial children's movement achieved many outstanding results. The Provincial Young Pioneers Council directed the district Young Pioneers Councils to coordinate with the commune cultural post offices to build 179 "School Bookcases"; deployed the "Training Young Pioneers" program in 42 schools/21 districts, cities and towns; built nearly 1,000 flocks of chickens, worth 600 million VND across the province in the "Small Plan" and "Red Scarf Chickens" programs. 100% of the Youth Pioneers Unions and Young Pioneers Councils at the commune and district levels organized the "We Tell Stories About Uncle Ho" Contest; organized the 11th Congress of Good Children of Uncle Ho in Nghe An province in 2015 and met with leaders of the Party and State.

In 2014 - 2015, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee closely and regularly coordinated with the Provincial Department of Education and Training in directing and organizing the implementation of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers' work programs, bringing emulation movements into depth and sustainability, attracting a large number of young people to participate voluntarily and consciously. At the Conference, union officials of districts, cities, towns and schools held dialogues with representatives of the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to improve the effectiveness of union and team work in the 2015-2016 school year.

In recognition of the collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Youth Union work and school youth movement in the 2014-2015 school year, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union Executive Committee to 43 collectives and 35 individuals; the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 31 collectives and 53 individuals.

The Provincial Council of Young Pioneers awarded Certificates of Merit to 49 groups and 47 individuals for their outstanding achievements in Young Pioneer work and children's movements in the 2014-2015 school year. The Department of Education and Training also awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 groups and 10 individuals for their outstanding achievements in Young Pioneer work and children's movements in schools in the 2014-2015 school year.
