(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 21, 2014, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai Town held a conference to summarize the site clearance work for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, the section passing through Hoang Mai Town.

The project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, the section passing through Hoang Mai town, has a total length of 14.44km, passing through the communes and wards of Quynh Thien, Quynh Xuan, Mai Hung and Quynh Vinh with 1,523 affected households, of which 56 affected households must be resettled.

With the participation of the entire political system, the determination of the town's leaders, and the consensus of the people, Hoang Mai promptly handed over the site to the construction unit on April 15 as directed by the province.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Doan Hong Vu - Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Council highly appreciated the results of site clearance work in the town in recent times; the efforts of localities and a number of related units. At the same time, the Secretary also noted that in the coming time, the Town People's Committee, the Town National Highway 1A Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council need to continue to resolve minor problems of some households on the construction route; pay attention to resolving the legitimate rights of the people during the construction process and after site clearance; properly resolve complaints from the people; at the same time, request the BOT Limited Liability Company to speed up the construction progress, properly resolve problems during the construction process with the people, ensure environmental sanitation...
