Summary of emulation clusters of the North Central provinces in the Culture - Sports and Tourism sector

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 4, in Vinh City, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) held a conference to summarize the emulation and commendation work in 2013 in the North Central region. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh, Director of the Emulation and Commendation Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, and leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the North Central provinces.

At the conference, delegates focused on evaluating the results achieved in the industry's professional fields such as building cultural life at the grassroots level through the rate of households meeting cultural standards; the rate of agencies and units meeting cultural standards; the rate of cultural villages, hamlets, villages, and neighborhoods; participation in art festivals and maintaining performance activities, preserving and developing folk cultural capital.

In 2013, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the North Central provinces tried to complete the tasks and targets of the sector. The movement of national solidarity continued to be maintained and promoted. In 2013, the rate of cultural families in Nghe An province reached 76%; there were 5 million tourists, revenue reached 2,100 billion. In 2014, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province was assigned the task of Head of the North Central emulation cluster of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

After evaluating the results achieved, representatives of the leaders of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector of the North Central provinces discussed the direction of work tasks; conducted the election of emulation titles and signed the emulation agreement for 2014.
