Summary of the photojournalism and art creation camp

(Baonghean.vn) - After a week of composing press and artistic photos and training in photo appraisal, on the afternoon of August 13, in Lai Chau city, Lai Chau province, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in collaboration with the Vietnam Electricity Group organized a summary of the photo composition and exhibition camp.

Attending the closing ceremony were journalist and photographer Vu Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Artist Dong Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Art Council of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Artist Pham Tien Dung - Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Photography Magazine, Artist Ha Huu Duc - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Center for Archives and Exhibition of Artistic Photography, representatives of Vietnam Electricity Group and 32 journalists and photographers selected from across the country.

During the week, photographers and journalists were divided into 3 groups to work in 3 mountainous districts of Lai Chau province, with the topic "Results of implementing Resolution 30a of the Government" in the mountainous districts of the Northwest and participated in training on photo appraisal, photo reportage, photo series, and creative orientation. The artists had 3 days of creation, 3 days of analysis, commentary, criticism, photo appraisal, writing articles and photo exhibition.

The Art Council selected 154 outstanding works for the exhibition and 12 excellent works and awarded prizes to 11 authors. On this occasion, author Sy Minh - Nghe An Newspaper was the only one to win 2 prizes and had 10 works selected for the exhibition./.
