General inspection of all non-public preschools

On December 20, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia said that in order to rectify the situation of violence occurring in some unlicensed private classes, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued a document requesting the Departments of Education and Training to organize inspections and reviews of all non-public preschools, especially private classes operating in the area.

Localities must publicly announce on mass media and notify residential groups about private groups that have or have not been licensed, or groups that have been suspended in the area so that parents know. The Department of Education and Training is responsible for directing preschool education facilities to thoroughly educate all staff about improving qualifications and professional capacity, promoting professional ethics, love and responsibility towards children.

According to the request of the Ministry of Education and Training, the inspection and examination of the activities of local preschool education facilities must be conducted in many forms (both regularly and suddenly) to promptly detect and strictly handle violations; resolutely suspend facilities that do not ensure conditions for nurturing, caring for and educating children.
