Car hits motorcyclist in critical condition, flees scene
(Baonghean.vn) - A man riding a motorbike on National Highway 1A was suddenly hit by a car coming from behind, causing the victim to fall onto the road.
The accident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on June 12 on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Thach commune (Quynh Luu).
According to people who witnessed the accident, the man was riding a motorbike with license plate 60K5 - 0453 traveling from Quynh Luu to Hoang Mai. When he reached Hamlet 12, Quynh Thach Commune, a car coming from behind hit his motorbike, causing him to fall onto the road and break his legs and arms. Because it was raining and there were few people around, the car fled the scene after causing the accident.

At the scene, the victim lay unconscious with many critical injuries, the motorbike was completely destroyed, and the license plate was torn off the vehicle.
Discovering the incident, people living on both sides of the road quickly took the victim to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
When the accident happened, people shared the victim's image on social media to find relatives and identified the man as Nguyen Dinh Nghi in block 12, Quynh Xuan ward (Hoang Mai town).
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the police.
