Polish President says Ukraine cannot penetrate Russia's defense line
(Baonghean.vn) - In an interview with the Washington Post, Polish President Andrzej Duda commented that Ukraine cannot penetrate Russia's defense line.

“Now they cannot launch a decisive counterattack against the Russian army,” President Duda said.
According to Mr. Duda, Ukraine lacks the weapons to change the balance of power on the front line.
Since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Poland has been the most ardent supporter of Ukraine among NATO members, actively calling on NATO and the EU to accept Ukraine into both alliances. Poland has played an important role in providing military aid to Ukraine. In April, Poland became the first NATO country to commit to providing fighter jets to Ukraine, providing Kiev with four MiG-29 aircraft. In addition, Poland has also received more than 1 million Ukrainian refugees in recent times.
The counter-offensive began on June 4. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry said that by the end of July, the Ukrainian army had suffered more than 43,000 casualties. As for Russia, President Vladimir Putin stressed that the offensive efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had failed. They were stopped and pushed back to their original positions.
Experts say the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is stalling, and the Kiev government is increasingly criticizing the United States for pushing them into new attacks, but not providing enough ammunition and air defense systems.
According to analyst George Beebe - Former CIA Director, when the Ukrainian army is defeated and NATO cannot come to the rescue, the Kiev government will eventually lose faith in Western allies and start talking about being abandoned.
In addition, US politicians are prolonging the conflict, instead of facilitating the start of negotiations. This means that the full restoration of Ukraine in the future seems less and less likely.
