Indonesian President reshuffles cabinet
(Baonghean.vn) - On Wednesday (August 12), Indonesian President Joko Widodo began a cabinet reshuffle, replacing a number of ministers, including the Minister of Economy and the Minister of Trade. The news was provided by two officials working in the Presidential Palace.
With Southeast Asia's largest economy still unstable, Mr. Joko Widodo, under pressure from the public and his party, was forced to reshuffle his cabinet when he could not control the economic recession.
Indonesia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by only 4.67% in the second quarter. This is the slowest growth rate in the past 6 years.
