US President criticized for not participating in the march in Paris
Not only Mr. Obama, many US officials did not participate in the march in Paris on January 11 with 40 world leaders.
Previously, Daily Mail quoted Mr. Obama's statement on January 9 in Tennessee, USA, emphasizing: "France is America's oldest ally. I want the French people to understand that America will always stand by you today and tomorrow."
However, Mr. Obama was not present at the march in Paris, which was attended by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, or Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who are said to have put aside their differences to attend the march.

Criticism of President Obama became even stronger when the US government announced that Mr. Obama would not attend the ceremony because he was "busy" watching two American Football games on television just hours after the march in Paris.
While Western leaders such as British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel stood side by side with French President Francois Hollande, President Obama "disappeared".
Not only Mr. Obama, US Vice President Joe Biden was also not present in Paris but stayed in Washington even though he had no work schedule on January 11. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State John Kerry is busy on a trip to India.
Attorney General Eric Holder, despite attending the anti-terrorism summit, did not attend the march in Paris. Instead, Mr. Holder participated in four American television shows on the morning of January 12.
The only US official present at the march was US Ambassador to France Jane Hartley, who is relatively unknown even to the American public, let alone people around the world.
A senior US official quickly "put out the fire" by declaring: "The US sent Ambassador Jane Hartley to join the march and don't forget that the US President made an official statement to the public as well as called Mr. Hollande to express condolences and visited the French Embassy in the US"./.
