President Putin: Negotiations with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam took place in a friendly atmosphere
The talks with General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong were held in a positive and friendly atmosphere, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

The Russian leader noted that Russia and Vietnam traditionally have friendly and deep relations and advocated maintaining active dialogue.
"The negotiations that have just concluded were very comprehensive, substantive, and were conducted in a positive, friendly atmosphere," Mr. Putin said.
