President Putin reveals about Russia's new leader after 2018

On March 24, Russian President Putin revealed the possibility of a new leader appearing in Russia after the presidential election to take place in 2018.

The above information was given by Mr. Putin himself during a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of World Skills International (WSI) at the Kremlin. Details of the meeting were published on the website of the Russian President's Office.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the organization of the World Skills 2019 international skills competition. WSI leaders hope that Mr. Putin, as a national leader, will be present at the opening or closing ceremony of the competition to increase the prestige and attractiveness of World Skills 2019.

However, in response, Mr. Putin implied that a new leader of Russia could appear after the election taking place in 2018.

“The event we are discussing will definitely be held in 2019, but the presidential election in Russia will take place in 2018. However, I believe that whoever holds the leadership position in Russia will be happy to attend these events.”./.
