President Putin fired 16 generals at once

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree dismissing 16 generals from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee, the corresponding document was posted on the official legal information portal.

Mr. Putin fired 16 generals from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee.

All 16 generals were relieved of their posts, two of them were dismissed from the military. The reasons for the reshuffle were not announced.

At the same time, the President appointed two deputy ministers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and approved the posts of Prosecutor General of the Republic of Crimea Oleg Kamshilov and Leningrad Region Boris Markov.
