President Trump says 'fine' after contracting COVID-19
On October 2, in his first public comments since announcing his positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 virus, US President Donald Trump said he was "doing very well".

According to AFP, on October 2, in his first public comments since announcing his positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 virus, US President Donald Trump said he was "doing very well".
"I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support. I'm heading to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I'm doing great. We'll make sure everything goes smoothly. The First Lady is doing great," Mr. Trump stressed in a short video message posted on Twitter.
Earlier, on the evening of October 2 (local time), US President Donald Trump appeared in public for the first time since testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus to board the Marine One helicopter to a military hospital.
Mr. Trump left the White House and gave a thumbs-up, but said nothing. The flight crew, Secret Service agents and White House officials on the flight all wore masks.
The White House said in a statement that Mr. Trump will be at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for several days. Mr. Trump will continue to work in a special room at the hospital.
