Ukrainian President sets conditions for resuming bilateral talks with France, Germany and Russia
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has outlined “concrete steps” to resume negotiations in the “Normandy format” (including France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine).
“In my opinion, it is the release of our prisoners, the repatriation of Ukrainian sailors, the announcement of a ceasefire, the sending of troops to build a bridge on Stanitsa Luganskaya,” the Ukrainian leader said at a press conference on the results of talks with French President Emmanuel Macron, broadcast live on the “112 Ukraine” channel.

According to Zelensky, these steps are not complicated, can be completed in the near future and return to resolving the "serious conflict".In it, the President of Ukraine emphasized that Kiev is not ready for direct dialogue with the self-proclaimed independent republics in the Donbass region.
“We are ready to act in the Minsk format, continue relations, ceasefire,” Zelensky said.
In turn, President Macron did not rule out a meeting in the "Normandy format" at the level of heads of state, but he noted that such a meeting needs careful preparation.
