Total domestic revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached 92% of the estimate

On the morning of July 19, Nghe An Tax Department held a conference to review the first 6 months of the year.

According to the Department's report, by the end of June 2011, the Tax Department had collected VND3,769.9 billion, equal to 116% of the ordinance estimate, equal to 92% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 122% over the same period. Of which, personal income tax reached VND103.8 billion, tax from enterprises and business households reached VND1,407.4 billion. Revenue from land use rights still accounted for a high proportion with VND1,885.2 billion.

At the conference, the Tax Department disseminated Decision No. 732/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on approving the Tax System Reform Strategy for the period 2011-2020 to key officials, reported on the topics and discussed the plan to implement tasks for the last 6 months of the year. On this occasion, authorized by the President, the leaders of the Tax Department awarded the Class B Labor Medal to 3 individuals: Hoang Thi Phuong - Head of Tax Inspection Department No. 1 - Nghe An Tax Department, Mr. Ngo Gia Tinh - Head of Dien Chau District Tax Department and Mr. Cu Huy Hung - Head of Vinh City Tax Department.
