(Baonghean.vn) - The Earth is increasingly lacking in natural energy sources. To solve this problem, solar energy is an ideal answer for a clean, cheap and potentially almost endless energy source.
Currently, the total solar power capacity worldwide is 177,003 Megawatts, enough to provide electricity for more than 29 million households.
The International Energy Agency has just listed the 10 countries that are using solar energy most effectively through the number of solar power capacity as of the end of 2014 (this is the latest data).
It is quite surprising that some small countries like Germany, Japan and Italy ranked above the US. We all know that solar panels need a lot of space, so it is very impressive that small countries are at the top of this list.

Coming in at number 5 is the country with the world’s number 1 economy – the United States with a capacity of 18,317 Megawatts.
