At the same time, the England team also had a resounding 3-0 victory over another South American opponent, Peru, thanks to goals from Sturridge, Cahill, and Jagielka.
In the match in Sevilla, Torres confirmed that he would still be the main striker for Spain when he scored from the 11m mark in the 51st minute after Javi Martinez was fouled in the penalty area.
But it was not until the 84th minute that Spain, without Real Madrid and Atletico players, sealed the victory thanks to Iniesta.
In England's victory over Peru, Sturridge also confirmed that he could be the hope for the Three Lions in Brazil when he scored a beautiful opening goal.
In other matches, Iran only had a 1-1 draw with Angola while Switzerland narrowly beat Jamaica 1-0.
