The 2015 Hilux was born with an important design role coming from Toyota Australia's research and development center, combined with Toyota Japan engineers and Toyota Thailand's manufacturing plant. The Hilux is the best-selling double-cab pickup truck in Thailand, and the upgraded version is scheduled to be launched in Bangkok next March.
The upgraded version of the 2015 Hilux may have a large horizontal grille, connecting the front headlights, while the rear of the car is designed to evoke the image of Mitsubishi's Triton.
In the interior, Hilux can inherit the size of a large Pick-up, with a larger interior, two rows of wider seats for users to easily put their legs. Besides the more luxurious interior, the power from the engine block is also expected to be significantly improved.
In Vietnam, Toyota Hilux is imported completely from Thailand, with two versions Hilux 3.0G (4x4) sold for 735 million VND, Hilux 2.5E (4x2) priced at 637 million VND. Hilux's competitors in the market have also had many upgrades such as Ford Ranger 2015 especially with the Wildtrak version, Mazda with the new BT-50 model, or Nissan has also launched Navara NP-300.
