Vinh City: Ham production facility violates food safety and hygiene

(Baonghean.vn) - At 9:10 a.m. on June 18, at hamlet 8, Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city, PC49 Department inspected the ham production facility of Tran Van Kiem (born in 1975, permanent resident of Truong Thi ward, Thanh Hoa city, Thanh Hoa province) temporarily residing in hamlet 8, Nghi Phu commune) for violating food hygiene and safety in ham and sausage production.

The police temporarily seized 100 kg of finished sausage that had a foul smell, 100 kg of fatty meat and pig skin used to make sausage that had no origin and had a foul smell; and 100 kg of additives used to make sausage that had no origin.

Currently, the authorities are completing the documents to handle according to the provisions of law.
