Vinh City: Nearly 5,000 businesses had their taxes forcibly collected from their bank accounts
(Baonghean.vn) - In Vinh City, there are currently nearly 4,500 enterprises, many of which owe taxes and deliberately delay their tax payment obligations. Therefore, the Vinh City Tax Department has taken many measures to urge and effectively implement debt management and tax debt enforcement. In the first 9 months of 2016, the Department collected old debts worth 75.5 billion VND.

Recently, the Vinh City Tax Department has coordinated with relevant authorities to post on the information system, newspapers, radio, and the city's website and list 1,939 enterprises with tax debts of over 100 million VND in wards, communes, and tax office headquarters, and to urge enterprises with tax debts of 5 billion VND.
For businesses that deliberately delay and pay taxes late, the Vinh City Tax Department requested the Department of Planning and Investment to revoke 19 business licenses of businesses and enforce 93 business households with a total fine of 682 million VND.
Along with that, the Department issued a decision to enforce the withdrawal of money from the bank accounts of 4,781 enterprises and issued a decision to enforce invalid invoices for 104 enterprises with tax debts of more than 20.4 billion VND.
