Vinh City holds second quarter meeting - People's Councils of wards and communes

(Baonghean.vn) -The Standing Committee of Vinh City People's Council has just held a meeting with the People's Councils of wards and communes.

In the second quarter of 2012, People's Council delegates at all levels met with voters at 16 communes and wards. The Standing Committee of the City People's Council regularly inspected the implementation of resolutions, improved the quality of activities of delegates, committees and People's Council groups. Organized supervision sessions and made decisions according to functions. Coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to organize meetings for National Assembly delegates with voters. People's Councils of wards and communes directed and urged the implementation of resolutions of the City People's Council and resolutions of People's Councils of wards and communes. Participated in public reception work, prepared for mid-year meetings as planned. The conference also deployed 8 key tasks for the third quarter of 2012. The leaders of the City People's Committee reported a summary of the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and asked the People's Council delegates to pay attention to the following issues: Budget collection, progress of removing old collective housing, building new rural areas, revenue and expenditure management, school admission, capacity and quality of staff, ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation and implementing local socio-economic targets.
