Vinh City strives to achieve 85% of studious families in the period 2012 - 2017
(Baonghean.vn) - Today, October 23, Vinh City's Association for the Promotion of Education held the third conference to summarize the emulation movement to build "Families of Learning", "Clans of Learning" and "Communities of Learning" in the period 2007 - 2012.
Up to now, the whole city has 47,582 families achieving the title of Excellent Student, accounting for 82%; in the past 5 years, the whole city has mobilized 17 billion VND from the Scholarship Fund, awarded scholarships to tens of thousands of poor students who have overcome difficulties and rewarded excellent students at all levels. Thanks to that, the quality of general and key education has been continuously improved. In the 2011-2012 school year alone, the whole city had 70 students achieving National Excellent Student Awards, 35 students achieving 27 points or more in the university entrance exam, hundreds of students achieving Provincial Excellent Student Awards...

In the period of 2012 - 2017, Vinh City's Association for the Promotion of Learning strives for over 85% of families to achieve the title of Excellent Families, 75% of clans to achieve the title of Excellent Learning Association and over 80% of communities to achieve the title of Excellent Learning Association, contributing to building Vinh City into a learning society.
On this occasion, Vinh City's Association for the Promotion of Education awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for the promotion of education in the period 2007-2012 and elected delegates to attend the upcoming Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education Congress.
