Vinh City gives gifts to young people joining the army

(Baonghean.vn) - On February 19, the City Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and Vinh City Military Command visited and presented gifts to young men preparing to join the army in the first batch of 2013.

On behalf of the city leaders, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and officers of the Vinh City Military Command visited and presented 20 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to 20 young people from religious areas and young people in difficult circumstances in the communes of Nghi Phu, Nghi Kim, Nghi Duc, Nghi Lien, Hung Chinh, Hung Dong, Hung Loc, Hung Hoa; Ha Huy Tap, Hong Son and Vinh Tan wards.

At each destination, the comrades kindly visited and learned about the aspirations and lives of families whose children were selected for military service this time to provide timely assistance to help young people feel secure in performing their military service.
