Vinh City, Hung Nguyen: Deploying Party building tasks in 2015

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 15, Vinh City Party Committee and Hung Nguyen District held a conference to review Party building work in 2014 and deploy tasks for 2015.

In 2014, Vinh City Party Committee and the Party Committees in the city focused on leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic, defense and security targets and tasks. The growth rate reached 7.6%/7-8% of the plan. Total social investment capital was 10,366 billion VND, reaching 101% of the plan, up 7% over the same period. Budget revenue was 1,060 billion VND, reaching 117% of the plan, equal to 119.77% of the estimate and up 37.3% over the same period. Average income per capita was estimated at 68 million VND/year. The city focused on leading and directing the preparation of favorable conditions and compensation plans for site clearance to attract investors such as Becamax Binh Duong, VinGroup, Nguyen Kim shopping center, attracting 2 Japanese and Korean enterprises to invest in industrial production; Focus on clearing the land to start construction of Hung Dong industrial cluster; adjust the planning of Nghi Phu industrial cluster.... The management areas of urban order, land, construction, environmental sanitation have improved step by step. The direction of state management of culture - society, administrative reform, ensuring social order and safety continue to be strengthened.

Party building work is comprehensively directed in all aspects of politics and ideology; taking care of organization and personnel work; strengthening inspection, supervision, and strict maintenance of Party discipline; focusing on mass mobilization, propaganda, and mobilizing all classes of people to compete in labor production, economic restructuring, legitimate enrichment, and helping each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. The work of building the government, the Fatherland Front, and people's organizations has many innovations in innovation activities and increasingly high-quality activities. At the end of 2014, the City Party Committee had 55/99 Party organizations achieving the title of Strong Party Organization; 36 Party organizations fulfilling their tasks well and 8 Party organizations fulfilling their tasks, with no Party organizations classified as weak.

At the conference, the Vinh City Party Committee and the Party Central Committees also focused on assessing and analyzing some limitations and shortcomings in the leadership of implementing political tasks, building the Party, and building the political system that need to be focused on overcoming in the coming time. The conference discussed the tasks, targets and solutions for 2015, the year ending the 5-year plan (2011-2015), the year of implementing Party congresses at all levels.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa emphasized: Vinh City is the political and economic center of the province, which means it is also the economic center of the North Central region. To achieve this goal, the city is requested to focus on bringing Resolution 26 of the Politburo on Nghe An into people's lives; strengthen coordination with departments and branches to complete the planning of Vinh City with the viewpoint of orienting the planning of Vinh City in line with the planning of the center of the North Central region. Specify solutions to effectively implement the targets and tasks of 2015, the last year of the 2010-2015 term; identify breakthroughs, focusing on urban areas, investment attraction, information technology, and building e-government.

The city needs to link cultural and social development with tourism development, actively implement activities to honor, preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Vi Dam folk songs associated with tourism development.... Many socio-economic targets in 2013 were completed and exceeded the plan, contributing to the continued development of the socio-economy. The work of Party building, building the political system, government, and organizations was focused on innovating the methods of operation, with many innovations.

At the Conference, the Central Emulation and Reward Council awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 3 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements; the District People's Committee recognized 49 collectives with the title of "Advanced Labor Collective", 86 individuals with the title of "Grassroots Emulation Fighter", and awarded certificates of merit to 34 collectives and 60 individuals; the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee classified 30 grassroots party organizations as clean and strong, 5 grassroots party organizations as exemplary clean and strong; 24 grassroots party organizations fulfilled their tasks well, 5 grassroots party organizations fulfilled their tasks.
