According to some Japanese newspapers, the G7 conference will pass a Statement criticizing China's aggressive actions in the East Sea.

After being strongly condemned at the Shangri-La Dialogue for a series of aggressive actions against neighboring countries, Chinese public opinion is expressing deep concern that the country will continue to be the target of criticism at the Group of Seven (G7) summit to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on June 4 and 5.

After several Japanese newspapers on June 2 revealed that the G7 summit would adopt a joint statement criticizing China's aggressive actions in the East Sea and the East China Sea, Chinese public opinion was particularly concerned. This information was quickly published in mainstream Chinese newspapers.

Today (June 3), Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, Global Times and many other major Chinese newspapers all quoted information from Japanese press about "G7 will continue to criticize China".

The G7 summit, which opens on June 4 in Belgium, will adopt a high-level statement that specifically criticizes China. The statement calls on China to exercise restraint in its actions in the East Sea and the East China Sea.

The Global Times quoted Chinese international relations expert Jin Canrong as expressing concern that the G7 summit's adoption of a joint statement criticizing China would deepen the conflict between the West, China and Russia.

However, expert Kim Xan Vinh also tried to minimize the seriousness of the problem, saying that "strong confrontation between the US and China at multilateral forums has become common, the important thing is that both sides still show caution and neither side dares to cross the red line."
