At the scene, the authorities seized 122.175 grams of crystal meth, 01 set of tools for illegal drug use, 01 motorbike; 02 mobile phones and a number of other related exhibits.

Previously, through the investigation, Thanh Chuong District Police discovered that Nguyen Van Cong had suspicious signs related to drug-related crimes. Cong is a serious drug addict, has two previous convictions for theft and has escaped from detention, so he is very sophisticated in illegal drug trafficking.

To evade authorities, Nguyen Van Cong mingled with a group of acacia tree harvesters in the border area, and took advantage of his familiarity with the mountainous terrain to contact and connect with powerful people on the other side of the border to buy drugs, then bring them back to retail, making illegal profits.

The subject is very secretive, only agrees to sell drugs to customers if he feels safe and conducts transactions in cemeteries and fields late at night when few people pass by.

Therefore, in order to successfully capture and prevent the subject from taking advantage of the terrain to destroy evidence and escape, the Task Force made a detailed and detailed plan to capture the entire net. After a period of persistently applying synchronous professional measures, in the early morning of May 21, the authorities successfully broke the case and arrested Nguyen Van Cong.
