Earth Could Be Destroyed If NASA Doesn't Carry Out This Dangerous Mission
NASA is preparing to carry out a daring mission to crash a dangerous asteroid into the Moon to save Earth from disaster.
In order to knock out an asteroid that could pose a threat to Earth, NASA has decided to undertake a daring mission. The company NASA has chosen to carry out this task is SpaceX. This company will use its own existing rocket system to do the job.

DART is a mission to explore and impact the moon of asteroid Didymos. |
The head of command is Tesla Elon Musk, the mission starts in June 2021. It will cost $ 69 million to launch this program. But it is a small price to pay to save all of humanity.
The potentially hazardous near-Earth asteroid Didymos is about 800 meters across, and its moon is 150 meters across. It was discovered in 1996 by the University of Arizona using a telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory.
This object orbits the Sun every 770 days. It is considered "dangerous" due to its close proximity to Earth. Nasa and SpaceX will send the DART probe to the moon of asteroid Didymos.

The DART probe "deliberately crashed" into the asteroid Didymos' moon at a speed of about 6km/s. |
According to NASA, DART is one of the planetary defense devices to prevent the impact of a dangerous space object on Earth. DART's probe will have an onboard camera and automatic navigation software. DART's main goal is to impact (cause collision) with small asteroids, causing them to change their orbit.
This DART probe"self-inflicted stabbing"into the asteroid Didymos' moon at a speed of about 6km/s. NASA hopes that the collision will change the speed of the asteroid Didymos' moon.
