Nghe An Police Detention Center announces the President's amnesty decision
(Baonghean) -This morning, August 30, Nghe An Police Detention Center held a ceremony to announce the President's amnesty decision on the occasion of National Day, September 2. Nghe An Police Detention Center has 31 prisoners who are being reformed and have been granted amnesty and early release during this period.
Attending and speaking at the amnesty announcement ceremony was comrade Thai Van Hang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the President's amnesty decision and awarded amnesty certificates from the Detention Center to 31 prisoners who had reformed well during their prison sentences at the Camp, and provided travel and accommodation expenses for the pardoned prisoners to return to their localities.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Thai Van Hang stated: The amnesty policy of our Party and State clearly demonstrates the lenient and humane policy towards those who have made mistakes and repented, reformed and made progress, while at the same time encouraging prisoners serving their sentences to actively study and reform to enjoy amnesty, strive to become honest citizens, useful to their families and society.
In Nghe An province, when the Central Advisory Council for Amnesty issued a special amnesty policy, the province directed departments and branches to do a good job of propagating amnesty, fully implementing the rights of prisoners, directing local authorities to do a good job of ideological work for relatives and families of those who were amnestied, and having a plan to manage, help, and create conditions for those who were amnestied to soon reintegrate into the community.
