The General Department of Roads has just requested units to prepare well to serve people's travel needs, ensuring order and traffic safety during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Accordingly, for toll stations at risk of congestion, especially at the gateways to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the General Department of Roads requires station management units to create the most favorable conditions for vehicle owners to buy tickets; open barriers to clear vehicles if traffic jams occur before entering the station.

The General Department of Roads also requested investors and businesses to strengthen inspections of toll collection for road services, ensuring that toll collection is in accordance with regulations.
