Bac Vinh Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Plant will officially operate on August 15
(Baonghean.vn) - To ensure the environment of production and business enterprises in Bac Vinh Industrial Park, in 2013, Bac Vinh Industrial Park Development Investment Company built a wastewater treatment plant.
Currently, Bac Vinh Industrial Park has 19 enterprises investing in construction and production and business, and in this Industrial Park there are 2 wastewater treatment stations: 1 station built by Sabeco Song Lam Packaging Joint Stock Company and internally treated by the company; 1 station built by Bac Vinh Industrial Park Development Investment Company in 2013 with biological technology, area 640m2, capacity 250m3/day and night.

After the treatment met the standard of column B QCVN/40.2011, on April 26, 2014, the treatment station was licensed to discharge waste by Nghe An Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Currently, 10/19 enterprises are connected to 2 wastewater treatment stations in operation. The treatment station of Bac Vinh Industrial Park Development Investment Company currently treats an average of 90m3/day and night.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Operation Officer of the treatment area - Bac Vinh Industrial Park Development Investment Company said: Currently, 9 enterprises are completing documents and installing connections to treat wastewater, and it is expected that the connections will be completed on August 15, 2016. Thus, all industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater are preliminarily treated at the factories, then concentrated through the sewer line Φ 300 - 800 MM to flow to the common treatment area located at the end of the industrial park for re-treatment.
At the end of the settling process, the clear water is drained back to the TSS filter tank and disinfected before being discharged into the environment. The wastewater after treatment meets column B standards according to QCVN-40-2011/BTNMT
