The information battlefield in remote areas is being left empty!

(Baonghean.vn) –According to a recent survey by the Department of Information and Communications, Nghe An province has 445/480 communes and wards (92.7%) with grassroots broadcasting systems, but more than 150 stations are completely broken, and over 200 stations operate "intermittently"...

Commune radio stations - the main means of transmitting information to the people, let alone books and newspapers. Currently in Tuong Duong and remote districts such as Ky Son, Tuong Duong, most of the villages, hamlets, and commune-affiliated units, along with the two Party newspapers Nhan Dan and Nghe An, have 15 other industry and organization newspapers and magazines. However, except for village leaders and commune departments, the majority of the villagers, for many reasons, are not suitable for this type of information. However, in Anh Son's cultural office, there is a cabinet filled with dozens of books, the content of which is mainly "research" (?).

In reality, the transmission of information to the grassroots must rely on the team of reporters and propagandists at the grassroots level. However, the quality of this team does not seem to meet the requirements (according to the aggregated data, the number of cadres and employees working in information and communication at the grassroots level who have received professional training courses accounts for less than 30%).

Obviously, the information and communication battlefield at the grassroots level in many remote areas is being left empty. Those gaps need to be promptly and sustainably "filled" by authorities at all levels and functional sectors; otherwise, it is inevitable that harmful information will jump in.

Dozens of books "Bringing to the grassroots" but apparently not suitable for ethnic minority people are still in the Culture Department of Anh Son district.

Mountain people often use illegal pans so they cannot catch Nghe An TV signals.

The radio equipment of Yen Tinh commune (Tuong Duong) has been stored in the “warehouse” for several years now. Situations like the one in Yen Tinh are not uncommon.

Meanwhile, Yen Na Commune Radio Station (Tuong Duong) next to Yen Tinh Commune operates a program twice a week. In addition, the station also rebroadcasts Nghe An Radio Station and District Radio Station twice a day.

To increase the dissemination of the Traffic Safety Law, police officers took the opportunity to propagate at a meeting of people in Nam Giai commune (Que Phong).
