What should a general information website pay attention to?

Article 36. General electronic information website

1. The general electronic information website must quote verbatim and accurately the press source and clearly state the author's name, the name of the press agency, and the time the information was posted or broadcast.

2. The information content on the general electronic information website must not violate the provisions of Clause 13, Article 9 of this Law and other relevant legal provisions.

3. Agencies and organizations that establish a general electronic information website must develop an information management process; are responsible for checking, monitoring and proactively removing information with content specified in Clause 13, Article 9 of this Law or when requested by a competent state management agency.

4. Agencies and organizations that establish a comprehensive electronic information website must immediately remove the compiled information content when the cited information source removes that information content.

5. The establishment of a comprehensive electronic information page of an agency, organization or enterprise shall comply with Government regulations.
